Unaccompanied minors
Under 5 years old child
Under 5-years old child must be accompanied by an escort not younger than 16 years and capable of taking care of the minor during the journey, who has been assigned by the child's parents or guardian.
5-11 years old child
Estonian Air service to an unaccompanied minor implies that the child is under the airline's supervision from check-in until the child has been met upon arrival by parent/guardian.
a request for escort service to an unaccompanied minor must be made before the departure and is mandatory for children aged 5 - 11 (incl).
If two unaccompanied minors travelling together are brothers/sisters, the fee 32 EUR/500 EEK applies only once. Separate fee applies for the third child.
the accompanying parent/guardian shall assist with departure formalities and remain at the airport until the aircraft has taken off.
if the child`s itinerary includes a night stop or a transfer between two airports, transfer escort must be arranged by the parents/guardian.
Children aged 5-11 travelling without an arrangement for the unaccompanied minor service, must be accompanied by an escort not younger than 16 years and capable of taking care of the minor during the journey, who has been assigned by the child's parent or guardian.
12-15 years old children
Children aged 12-15 may travel independently, however the unaccompanied minor service similar to children aged 5-11 is optional.
