EgyptAir accepts children between 6 and 12 years of age for unaccompanied transportation without any additional charges.

However, some regulations apply:

* An authorized guardian must deliver the child at the airport of departure.
* An EgyptAir security form for unaccompanied minors must be issued and completed with needed signatures of guardians and/or parent/s.
* Infants and unaccompanied minors under 6 years of age are accepted under inevitable circumstances. An escort must be assigned to accompany the child at all times during the flight.

Escorts are provided at an additional charge. Rates for unaccompanied minors are composed of:
1. Applicable child fare for unaccompanied minor
2. Applicable one-way adult fare for traveling class of unaccompanied minor

Unaccompanied minors are preferred to travel on non–stop flights.

Unaccompanied young passengers are provided with special treatment at the request of parents/guardians.

The parent/guardian must remain with young passengers alone at airport of departure until boarding the aircraft.

Upon arrival, the parent/guardian must meet unaccompanied minors at the airport of destination.

Baggage of unaccompanied minors is permitted only for immediate continuous space.

An itemized list of baggage with prices must be provided and all segments of baggage must be confirmed.

Travel documents:

* When reserving, a declaration form is filled by parent/guardian to relieve EgyptAir from any liability or responsibility of guardianship and to provide details of escort on departure/ arrival.
* Baggage identification tags, health certificates and passport of an unaccompanied minor can be held in the charge of escort, or may be retained by the minor, preferably in a wallet provided at boarding station
