Travelling with children
Infant under 2 years age without a seat gets 90% discount. Infant must be accompanied by adult and adult must be at least 16 years of age to be able to accompany and infant. One adult can accompany only one infant. If you book an infant ticket he/she will not have his/her own seat on board. However, if you need a separate seat for your baby, please book the applicable child's fare.
Please note that on flights operated by Fokker 50 aircraft we accept no more than 3 infants and on flights operated by Boeing aircrafts we accept no more than 10 infants.
Accompanied child 2-15 years and unaccompanied child 5-15 years gets 33% discount. Children age 12 until 15 may travel alone if having passport, birth certificate and notarized credentials. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult age 16 and over. Unaccompanied children will not be permitted to board the aircraft. airBaltic unaccompanied minor service available for children age 5 and over. Unaccompanied child under 5 years of age will not be accepted for carriage. In route Riga-Moscow-Riga and on Intercontinental routes child is 2-12 years of age.
airBaltic service to an unaccompanied minor implies that the child is under the airline supervision from check-in until the child has been met upon arrival by parent/guardian.
Unaccompanied minor service arrangement must be made in advance at airBaltic ticket offices.
On the Internet you can buy ticket for accompanied child only.
Child/Infant car type seats or other restraint systems aren't authorized for use on airBaltic flights.
Passengers age 16 until 18 may travel alone if having passport, birth certificate and notarized credentials.
